Celebrate Independence Day in Branson, Missouri, with Hotel Grand Victorian. Branson does everything big, and the 4th of July is no exception. The celebration goes beyond one day of fun with exceptional outdoor and indoor activities for the whole family.
Things to do 4th of July 2023 Weekend
Kick off the festivities on July 2nd at Table Rock Lake. The Fireburst Independence Day Fireworks Display is a 30-year tradition and one of Branson’s most popular events. The show can be viewed by land or boat near the Kimberling City Bridge.
Table Rock Lake is a top destination. There are many spots to hang out at the beach with 800 miles of shoreline. Here are things to do before the Fireburst show; pack a picnic, sunbathe, and swim or rent a boat for water sports or fishing. If you’re looking for something more exciting, spend the day parasailing, flyboarding, or jet-skiing. Enjoy dinner on a showboat lake cruise and take in the views from the deck.
On July 3rd, get ready for Branson Landing’s 15th Annual Liberty Light Up. Bring your lawn chair and dance or relax under the stars while listening to free concerts featuring The Dirty Saints! The concerts will be followed by a spectacular choreographed fireworks display that will fill the skies over Lake Taneycomo.
Lake Taneycomo is famous for trout fishing. Before the show, enjoy a day of fishing, canoeing, kayaking, or take a pontoon cruise around the lake. If you’ve never tried trout fishing or looking for the best spots to catch a rainbow or brown trout, the team at Hotel Grand Victorian can help you find the perfect guide.
Or, if you want to stay on land, Branson Landing offers traditional, upscale shopping. You will find national retailers, including Bass Pro Shops, Belk Department Store, Francesa’s, and H&M. Of course, it’s not all traditional at the Landing; there is a scenic boardwalk with fantastic fountain shows (even a 120-foot geyser!), live music, a farmer’s market, and dining.
Then on July 4th, head over to Hollister for the annual Top of the Rock Fireworks! This incredible show includes a 1,000-shell hand-lit fireworks display. A $25 entry fee includes the Little Miss Firecracker Pageant, music, and more.
